Questions about some forum features

I thought the Intro area was a good place to post this so new members may see it upon joining.

I have a couple questions about some of the neat features I've seen throughout the forum....

The THANKS button on posts: What does that do?

How do we use the Mult-quote?

The -/+ on the edge of posts that says something about voting: What is the purpose of this and what happens when we vote?

Yeah, the thanks, +'s and such aren't necessary, feel free to ignore 'em.. I think it's just a nice way to give someone a 'thumbs up' so to speak for making a good post, comment or something of the sort. An easy way to say 'hey, I agree with you!' or something like that. xD;

just made this tutorial. Both real guests and members are free to use this feature/section when they need to.
