| Hi All! I'm a SAHM to two wonderful human children, two doggie children and one suggie. I am a new suggie owner. I am excited to learn as much as I can about them so that my suggie can have the best life possible. | |

| Welcome to the forum....and yes, I would definately consider getting your baby a friend. Many people think they'll start with one because they think it's easier to bond with one first, but that's really not true. It is actually easier to bond with 2. They tend to follow eachothers lead. | |

| I am hoping to add another glider to our family. I didn't exactly plan on having one. I had fallen in love with them many years ago while helping to care for a friends pair, but I never got any of my own. Just recently a friend's mom had to get rid of her glider due to a decline in her health and being unable to care for the glider properly. That's how I became a glider mommy. Snappy has been hand raised by the person that gave her to me since shortly after she came out of pouch. Her mom passed away while she was still young. We had some major bonding issues at first, but she is adjusting well. I have her on a good diet and it is making a huge difference. The person that kept her for my friend's mom had her in a small carrier and didn't give her anything but cat food. She was extremely malnourished and very timid. She is eating well and I can see her personality changing as she adapts to her new surroundings. | |

| It was very nice of you to take her in. I'm so glad she has a good home with someone that loves her. | |
