My Granddaughter & Me Made Pet Toys

My 6 year old granddaughter & I made some pet toys today.

We made this for Lulu & Skadoosh

Cute! I love the one with the hearts. That would be adorable with a heart themed cage set.

I am jealous of your purple C links. The box I have only comes in red, blue, green and yellow.

No, they are actually yellow, I bought my links from Dallie of Fast Track. She gives 4 of 6 colors in set of 24, red, blue, yellow, orange, purple, & green. I bought 2 sets. I saw the big packs on amazon, but really had no need for 1000 links, lol.

And thanks everyone, I had fun making the toys with my granddaughter, & she says she wants to make more toys. The heart bracelet links are from an idea from RC, & are also my granddaughters favorite, so I let her make another one with me, but we only had 4 hearts left, I had to use round ones in the middle part, it still looks pretty though.

I think I have made enough toys for my gliders now though, sad that toy making fun is over for a while anyway. I do have an over abundance of colored straws though, lol, I guess I'll use them up eventually.

LOL Famous Last Words! I thought I wouldn't have a need for 500 and I've used up about 2/3rds of them already.

Wow, that's a lot of links! So do you have more than 1 cage? A really big cage? Or just make a lot of stuff or sell stuff? I just can't imagine using 500.

They go by FAST! I've already used up 500 links and have opened my 2nd box of 500. If you make more toys, chances are, you'll need the links. If you lose a link while washing your pouches, you will need more. If the kids chew them up? You will need more links! LOL

lol I bought 1000 of the c- links and let me tell you I use them for everything!!!!!!!!!

I sometimes just use the C links like you would baby links. They make a GREAT dangle toy in a pinch!

I had some, not sure how many, I needed more, so I purchased 48 of them, I use them like crazy also, even have a chain of them, but still have several left over if needed for extras or even more toys.

I use the C Links for everything too and I even find myself using them around the house for stuff. I have a 5 year old and a 7 year old so some of mine go "missing" too. I make a lot of different toys and also use them for gift exchanges. It's amazing the uses you will find for them after you start using them.
