Fringed vines are another easy and fun toy you can make for you suggies. Even the most basic sewer can make these with ease. Vines can be made with as many layers as you would like, but I will warn you that the more layers you use, the harder it is to sew. To make these vines you will need at least 2 strips of fleece, more if you want, that are 4 inches wide and 24 inches long. You can make the vines longer or shorter if you would like.

Stack the pieces of fleece on top of one another. Take another small strip of fleece, fold it in half, and place it at the top of your vine in between the layers. This will become your hanging loop.

Sew a single line, straight stitch down the middle of your vine. Your stitches should be as tight and small as your machine will allow you to make them. Do not use any type of decorative stitch. A straight stitch is all you need.

After you finish sewing the vine trim off the excess string.

To make the fringe all you need to do is make small cuts along the sides of the fleece. You will want you fringe to be about 1 inch wide to keep it from tearing up when you wash it. Make these cuts along both sides of your seam and on each layer of the fleece. This is what gives it the fringed look.

Here are two different views of how you can make the hanging loop from a folded strip of fleece.
