Happy 4th of July!!!

Hope everyone has a happy 4th of July!!! My little Sugar Babies are getting some watermelon to celebrate! I wish I could bring them out, but I don't want them afraid or their delicate little ears hurt by the sound of mortars, so they'll stay safe and sound in their cages in the house.

Fireworks have been going off around the Lake all day. Luckily, my babies are in a room towards the back of the house, so the noise doesn't seem to be bothering them.

The fireworks were last at our lake. Gliders didn't seem to care I gave them some ground beef (no spices of course)

Ah, wish we were lighting fireworks but we decided against it. NM is up in flames lately, I heard that this years fire has been the biggest yet.

No fire works for us. We are getting some GOOD rain all last night and today.

We had a ban on fireworks where I live, but I hope all of you had a good day anyway!

We had a burn ban too, but our's was really lenient since it rained the day before a little. The cops did come through and said that we could light them off, but to wait until he left the neighborhood since the burn ban was still on. We had water games for the kids in all surrounding yards so the grass was pretty saturated (aka, it flooded in most parts lol- but kids and water you know it's happening).
We all had a blast! Had tons of food. I made a cake with the American flag in it when you cut it, carved up some watermelons to make them look semi pretty, I'll throw some pics up soon.
