Just Checking In

Sorry I've been MIA. If you have seen any of the weather reports you have probably seen that Tropical Storm Debby has been dumping torrential rain on North Florida and South Georgia. As of 8 pm last night the official rainfall total was 13.28 inches, but I don't know how accurate that is because some areas got closer to 20 inches. I wish I had thought to put a rain gauge out to measure the rain at my house. We have many sections of our neighborhood that area flooded.

Here are some pictures I took in my neighborhood Monday. We then had another 8 to 10 inches Monday night and yesterday. ~ [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ~ Multiple homes have water in them and many streets are closed. Fortunately we didn't have any issues other than losing my internet on a regular basis. The rain has all moved away and we will hopefully start drying out soon.

lol that water wouldn't last 10 mins here before the ground sucked it all up!!! Way to dry out here. Glad to here you and you family are well!

It's just crazy that you guys are flooding and Colorado is on fire.....they would LOVE to have just a portion of that.....

What's even funnier is that my dad lives in Colorado Springs right where the fires are. I'm posting pictures of flooding and my dad is posting pictures of fires. I wish Mother Nature would just spread it all out and make it better for all of us.
