Hello from Florida

Hi !
First of all, it's very nice to meet all of you. My name is Dany, I have been infatuated with Sugar Gliders for about a year, now, though I have never had one ( or more ) . I wanted to learn as much as possible about them, before making a 15 year commitment, only to realize they are not for me. The more I learn, the more I love them, and my dreams of one day having one or two of those little babies have not wavered.
I live in Florida with my Hubby Dave, who is active Duty military ( another reason we have waited) , this will be his last Duty station and we are going to stay in Florida. ( he's from here) So no more dangers of having to move to a state that does not allow Suggies.
I think we are pretty sure we will want to rescue not buy a baby, even though this will probably mean a lot more work and dedication. I can live with that, as long as we can save an unwanted honeybun. We don't care about coloring or anything, I think they are ALL lovely.
The only thing we have been getting mixed answers on, is the sex. Some say it does not matter, some say females are easier some say males.
I'm hoping you sweet people can give us some answers on that, for first time future Suggie parents.

WHAT PART? IM JUST SOUTH OF JACKSONVILLE

I have a bunch of different ones on Photobucket that I can share if you would like.

I've got gliders that are both genders, I've got sweet females and sweet males, grumpy females and grumpy males. I think that it all depends on their individual personalities over what gender they are, I hope you find you at least a pair of fuzz butts to enslave you as soon as you feel that you're ready.
