Tropical Storm Beryl

Well it's May26th, 5 days before the official start of Hurricane Season, and a Tropical Storm Warning has been issued for where I live. This is the 2nd named storm so far and it makes me worry that we may have a super active Hurricane Season this year. I live in Jacksonville, Florida and we haven't had a hurricane hit here since Hurricane Dora hit in 1964. I'm thinking I need to take hurricane prep more seriously this year so that we are prepared in the event that we have to evacuate. I'm lucky that my mom lives just down the street and unless we will be taking a direct hit from a category 4 or 5 storm, we are safe at her house. I just hope she won't mind a glider invasion.
