Well lets get to it, I borrowed this from TSS but here is how I got my screen name:

Four years ago my first anniversary was approaching. I was unaware at the type of grandiose gifts my boyfriend gets for special occasions and I wasn't really sure what to expect from him. When he finally came over I was upset at how empty handed he was and that he was so frantic made me worry. He instructed me to wait on him and he would be back from the store. I thought to myself... "Wonderful, he hasn't even bought me a present yet". It took him forever to return but when he did he presented me with a box that was not even wrapped. I smiled and played the guessing game with him to keep it interesting and I finally opened the box and peered in. What I saw was nothing like I had ever seen before, it had large black eyes the size of marbles, black and gray striping all over it, big teeth and I then realized this creature I was holding was alive and it could bite! I shut the box again and I asked timidly, "What....what is it?". He started up with laughter and then finally explained that it was a Sugar Glider or a small gliding marsupial from Australia and Indonesia. In amazement I coaxed myself into opening the box again and when I did the creature inside made a noise like a garbage disposal and opened its mouth wide which I later discovered was "crabbing". I was shocked and scared and handed it back to him unsure whether or not I wanted to accept his gift. Of course out of generosity I accepted the thing and later named her Luna.

Anyway, I am a full time college student and so is my boyfriend. I am working for my masters degree in Biology. Sewing is what I do, I run a small sugar glider shop, the link is in my signature and I also hope to have a clothing shop soon.

Hmmm, I am really not sure what to say. I like to listen more than speak. I enjoy photography, painting, sewing, drawing, hiking, and learning. When I get a chance I will add some photos. I also like death metal, black metal, gothic metal, piercings, indian movies, reading bio's, running, and any mexican food....its just good.

I take a lot of effort into trying to living wholesomely or in my point of view logically, like buying from small farmers, not using plastic bags, not using commercial products, you know...stuff like that. I get a big kick out of things I never knew because I never asked like the chems in Olay products age your skin, GMO plants are killing the ecosystem, plastic bags are one of the largest pollutants, etc.

Sugar gliders, I have four females; Luna, Ky [pronounced like Khigh :X], Mya, and Rory. Rory is my oldest, about 5 and Luna, who is 4 years old, is my original glider. Ky is very friendly to an obnoxiously cute point and Mya is kinda vindictive but I guess that is because she is the youngest.

Thank you all for reading, I hate making posts and then no one replies, it is incredibly discouraging. I will have to check all of your threads out.

Ps.I forgot to add, it is true I have only owned gliders since 2008 but I poured myself into the research instantly and the higher up in Biology I get the more scientific understanding I have about all life, so please feel free to ask me any questions. You can ask me questions about anything too, I even try to show others how to sew some things but I kinda suck at that lol.
