ideas for cage set themes and add ons

This is a new thread to post your ideas you'd like to see for new cage set themes and when we get a theme everyone can add in their ideas for what you can make or add to the cage set that would go with that theme.

ex. fish theme...
fish bowl pouches, plastic fish toys, a plastic boat hanging from rexlace from top of cage with a fishing pole dangling a feather or other glider enticing toy from the end,
Now who has other ideas to add???

A butterfly theme:
Flutter vines
Butterfly shaped pouch... Though I'm not sure how it would really work.

i would love to see a butterfly cage set!!! i just love butterflies!

I think that butterfly theme would be so cute!!!!!!

What about a strawberry theme?

A fruit theme in general would be cute. Strawberries, kiwi, bananas, apples, etc.

Hmmm... I think I might have to make the butterfly theme now, lol.

I am just working on a butterfly set. I made a new open enviroment pouch in the shape of a butterfly. I'll get pics later and post them. I did it to go along with a caterpillar set that I thought could start out as caterpillars and turn into butterflies What exactly is a flutter vine? I made vines for my set that are just green fleece vines with flowers on them. The set also has one of my new open flower pouches in it too. Oh yeah one of my other butterfly cage sets has the butterfly shaped hammock...I'll post a pic of that one too.
I have been working on a strawberry set too but it's not going so well. I have this adorable strawberry shortcake house that looks like a giant strawberry but my strawberry shaped pouches look more like tomatos than strawberries Plus you just can't find strawberry fleece anywhere.

I need ideas for a movie theme cage set...I have these adorable popcorn containers that would be so cute in a cage set so I need a set to go around the popcorn stuff.

A round pouch shaped like a film reel would be cute for that one... Or maybe set up a pouch like a theater- a cartoon theme fabric or movie, then sew on curtains to drape at the edges with a black fleece frame. IDK, that's about all I can come up with for that one for now.

what about like representing some of the different genres for your movie cage set comdy,romance,thriller,western,drama......
do something with candy as well!! you always have candy at the movies maybe something shaped like a soda cup.

Oh and my flutter vines (original creation, so if you want to make it please just do it for personal use) is a braided fleece vine, two plastic butterflies woven in and a mini barrel of monkeys woven in- 100% stitch free.

Right now I'm finishing my butterfly set and starting a sunflower set...I'll post pics as soon as they are finished.

I am going for a whole country theme for my gliders. I wanted to make some tent time toys and hubby has informed me we have a lot of pvc...any ideas?

Country, maybe you could use the pvc and taking some plastic mesh and zip ties, make a "cage within a cage" for them. Perhaps something like a maze? You could fill each section of the maze with different stuff: a ballpit in one section, pom poms only in another, fleece bedding in a third...make it a textural museum of sorts?

I am mostly done with a pirate theme but for a fleece cageset! Got a pirate ship swing, boat foraging toys, lots of nautical rubber toys, including a big blue dolphin floor toy. Also have a toddler's shape learning turtle that the kids like to hide and forage in.

Another theme I am working on is a casino theme. Got poker shot glasses at Party City and poker fleece fabric. Am thinking of getting the glider treadmill as a roulette wheel and in the ball pit, maybe get plastic dice?

Also wanna do a garden vegetable theme. You know how they have those plastic onion, bell pepper and tomatoes savers in the kitchen aisle of your grocery store? Turn those bad boys into foraging toys.

And i wanna do a fairy tale romance theme or maybe even a wedding theme. Or both. Gotta toy carriage, plastic imaginex castle. I could get those bride and groom shot glasses and make a foraging toy? Silk flowers in a romantic looking swing?

I NEED to see pics of the pirate theme. I'm working on a pirate theme now too.

What I do is I upload it on photobucket, copy the direct link and come back on here and click the little link (looks like this > [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ) and then paste the direct link of the photo in the box that pops out click "OK" then post my comment.

Also, inside the turtle, you can tell I've got some "tooth fairy" treasure chests for meal worm "booty" as well as some rubber sea creatures...cute octopus, fish, etc.
